Firstly, great products for a great price. When I need to speak to the team for advice they're so helpful, I wish everyone was as easy to deal with.

Online ordering process was very easy and I received a phone to review the details of my order prior to making any payment.

Excellent service, very helpful and polite call back. Great advice from the shutter expert getting the shutter measurements on a difficult bay window. We have had shutters from California Shutters before and the quality is amazing and they are very easy to fit.

I chose California Shutters after getting ridiculously high quotes from local companies. I was a little apprehensive at first going down the DIY route, but after reading all the guides, watching the YouTube videos and talking to Jake at CS about the design, it turned out to be a straightforward process. The shutters and frames came really well-packed in 12 separate boxes and tubes with tracked delivery. The frames went together in minutes and the fitting was reasonably easy despite some of my window reveals being out of square. All the shutters fitted nicely first time with a couple of hours needed to get them adjusted perfectly, the fit and finish was top-notch, a credit to the manufacturers.
The only minor negative was the way the tee bars were secured with just one screw at each end, I put two in and it stopped the slight movement I had previously.
Overall, a great experience, just make sure you measure properly!

finish and the shutters are amazing we love them.
The back up is great they guided us through the whole
process take a few photos of your windows let them
have YOUR measurements they send back drawings
(we requested them) for our approval when you are
happy everything is ok your order goes through for production . We found fitting the Shutters easy very
straight forward but we knew we could always get the
advice if we needed. In a word do we recommend
California Shutters Definitely.

Ordering us a straightforward process and there is a wealth of guidance in various sections of the website. This is the sixth shutter I have ordered and the updated method of hiding the frame fixings is excellent.
On my last order there were issues with the finish on two of the doors. However this was soon rectified and replacements were supplied. Well done.

This is my 3rd order. These are fantastic shutters and the service from customer services is brilliant. They help you to make sure you get tour shutters spot on. Can’t fault them! 10/10

Everything was great the website, the guides, ordering process and then the phone call to check order measurements. The only thing that really disappointed me is left with the choice of the more expensive faux wood rather than the cheaper real wood option, I picked the most expensive! Only to be told that the large (and white in the videos) mounting posts aren’t included with the more expensive version but are with the cheaper. This now needs me to source, measure, cut and paint 68mmx68mm posts from building supplier. This isn’t mentioned in the measurement guide or technical reference. Waiting for blinds to be delivered and then I will re-review if needed. A real shame…

I have received my shutters from California Shutters.

They actually were much better quality than the ones ordered from John Lewis and cost less money.

If you order the Shutters from California Shutters make sure you double check the order with the customer service agent before you confirm and pay for your order.

This is my 2nd order with California Shutters. Simple ordering process, the website has brilliant measurement guides to assist. Good communication and lovely friendly advisor to assist with final order. Brilliant service. Have already recommended.

Have just fitted a large order we received in August. We couldnt open them on receipt (too many boxes to check) and now found a corner damaged by Yodel in transit..its small and most people prob wouldnt notice it. We bought California as we previously used them for our bathroom window (hybrawood) -fab ! however, this time, some years later we found ,the quality was not as good, Pure Hardwood, white grained , finish is rough feeling, almost like sawn wood and the white wash paint effect is too uneven in places...wish i had gone for the cheaper plain white now... oh well, they look nice.
